A decade of progress has seen Murangโ€™a University of Technology embrace digital solutions to enhance service delivery, learning and institutional efficiency.

Through initiatives such as the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Open, Distance and e-Learning (ODeL), and digital library services, MUT continues to leverage technology to improve access, streamline processes and enrich the university experience.

The Mazingira Week 5-10 October 2026 activities in Murangโ€™a County were officially flagged off at ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ โ€™๐š ๐”๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐“๐ž๐œ๐ก๐ง๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ (๐Œ๐”๐“) by the Office of the County Commissioner, in collaboration with county stakeholders and the University.

The ๐•๐ข๐œ๐ž ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ, ๐๐ซ๐จ๐Ÿ. ๐๐ฒ๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ค๐ข, joined the County Commissionerโ€™s Office and other stakeholders in planting ๐š๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฑ๐ข๐ฆ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ ๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ž ๐ฌ๐ž๐ž๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ ๐š๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐”๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, marking the start of a week of environmental conservation activities across the county.

The flag-off was held under the theme โ€œSustaining Resilient Environment, Clean Environments,โ€ reaffirming our collective commitment to tree growing, environmental restoration, clean surroundings and climate resilience.

The initiative contributes to the national tree-growing agenda and the Presidential target of planting 6 million tree seedlings in one hour, demonstrating the power of collective action in building a greener and more resilient Kenya. ๐ŸŒณ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ช
