We have commenced the delivery of a targeted mentorship program supporting 40 agribusinesses in Kiambu County, equipping entrepreneurs with practical skills, strategic insights, and the confidence required to build sustainable, competitive, and profitable enterprises. In collaboration with Equity Group Foundation, Anglican Development Services (ADS) Kenya (Mount Kenya); the four structured mentorship sessions and individualized one-on-one guidance, the program supports mentees to strengthen business planning, improve market access, enhance financial management, and adopt sustainable production practices aligned with market demand.
The mentorship is intentionally grounded in real-world business challenges, enabling agribusinesses to sharpen pitching skills, refine product development, conduct effective market analysis, navigate price volatility, improve productivity, and position their enterprises for growth, partnerships, and investment.
Beyond technical capacity, the program fosters leadership, resilience, and peer learning, ensuring agripreneurs are better prepared to make informed decisions and build enterprises that contribute meaningfully to food security, job creation, and local economic development.
BDIT College remains committed to nurturing agribusinesses to thrive, scale, and create lasting impact within their communities while actively welcoming partnerships that amplify innovation, inclusion, and sustainable growth across the agrifood sector.
