The mission of our School is to equip women and men to answer the call of our Lord Jesus, to make Ch Welcome to the School of Religion and Christian Ministry!

Our mission is to equip women and men to answer the call of our Lord Jesus; to make Christlike disciples in the nations. Besides fostering academic excellence through ongoing research and participation in learned societies, our faculty have many years of practical experience as pastors, missionaries, and teachers. Our passion is to shape emerging leaders for the global Church. Theologically, we are grounded in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. We believe that God has provided reconciliation through the cross of Christ. Further, we affirm that God purifies us from all sin, filling us with love and empowering us for service through the Holy Spirit. This is our hope for divine transformation of both individuals and society. To impact our world, we offer a variety of online programs, including the Bachelor of Arts (Christian Ministries), Bachelor of Theology, Master of Arts (Religion), Doctor of Ministry, and PhD (Religion). The online E-Naz platform facilitates rich exchanges in a virtual classroom, allowing students to study while remaining plugged into their ministry assignments in locations across Africa and beyond.

The SRCM continues to mourn the passing of our Master of Arts in Religion alumnus, brother, friend, and colleague, Rev. Cosmas Mutowa, FSC, of the Africa South Central Field, who went to be with the Lord in the early hours of Friday, 10 April 2026.

As we remember his life and ministry, we invite you to continue lifting up his wife, Andronica, his children, and the entire family, along with all who were touched by his faithful service. Your prayers remain deeply meaningful in this season of grief and remembrance.

We hold firmly to the promise of God's Word: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18
May the abiding comfort of Christ sustain all who mourn and may the legacy of his life continue to bear fruit. 🕊 — Dr. Gift Mtukwa
