Before the celebration, there was the work.

Early morning. Pots on the fire. Tables being dressed. The smell of food from every
corner of Kenya filling one room.

This was Kibondeni College’s Cultural Day 2026, and it started long before the guests arrived.

Our students and staff cooked traditional meals and set up booths representing the
diverse cultures that make up our Kibondeni community.

Because here, hospitality isn’t just a skill you learn: it’s an experience you live.

This World Environment Day, Kibondeni College students took to the streets: picking, clearing drains, and showing up for the neighbourhood that hosts them. Because hospitality is not only about what happens inside the kitchen. It is about how you treat the world outside it.

In celebration of World Environment Day, our students stepped beyond the classroom and into the community, taking part in activities that contribute to a cleaner, greener future. From tree planting to community clean-up initiatives, they demonstrated that environmental stewardship begins with everyday actions.

The students also engaged community members in conversations about sustainable choices, highlighting the importance of reducing plastic waste and embracing alternatives such as glass bottled water, which can be reused and recycled, helping to protect our environment for future generations.

🎓 Requirement:
