TALK THE WORD

LET THE WORD CONTROL YOUR MIND!

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23).

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Proverbs 4:20-22 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they [are] life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

One of the characteristics of adulthood is self-awareness. In other words, you know yourself; you know how you think, and you can even predict your own actions. You can say, “In such and such circumstances, I’d react or respond to issues this or that way.”

Now, consider this: the way you are or reason today—your current mindset—is a result of several factors. First is your parentage. From your parentage, you inherited certain traits. Then the society in which you grew up, the materials you consumed (the books you read, the films you watched, the things you listened to) all make up who you are today.

All the information that came to you through your senses were recorded by your mental faculty and your physical body. Your body has a mind. Your cells have memory. The physical members of your body have memory; they store information. So, all the information you ever received actually got stored in you.

Thus, each adult is an amazing conglomerate of massive storage facilities. Think about it: Your head has its own storage; your hand, your feet, all the systems of your body have so much inside them. All of these eventually lead to how you react to stimuli and how you respond to information or actions of other people.

No wonder the Bible says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2).

Through conscious consistent meditation on the Word, your mind is organized, reorganized, programmed or reprogrammed. Its contents and processes are synchronized with God’s thoughts and perfect will for your life. That's what brings about lasting transformation.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES, DAILY DEVOTIONAL, MONDAY 29TH JUNE 2026. PASTOR CHRIS

TOPIC ✨ FULFIL YOUR GOSPEL MANDATE WITH BOLDNESS ✨

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest (Joshua 1:9).

Boldness is the divine confidence to speak and act in line with God’s will, regardless of opposition or circumstances. It’s often the result of being filled with the Spirit: dynamic evangelism—preaching the Gospel with power. We see this in Acts 4:31; the saints were all filled with the Holy Ghost and they spoke the Word of God with boldness even in the face of threats and severe persecution.

How we need that in our world today: the outworking of divine courage and boldness in preaching the Gospel! A person of courage understands that every opposition is an opportunity for victory. This is what we see in the early Church. The apostles didn’t retreat in the face of persecution; they advanced the Gospel with greater boldness.

After they were threatened, they prayed for boldness and, being filled again with the Holy Ghost, they spoke the Word with boldness (Acts 4:29-31). Even when they were beaten and commanded not to preach, they departed, rejoicing and continued daily to teach and preach Jesus Christ (Acts 5:40-42).

They weren’t afraid of kings, rulers, or death; they were strong and very courageous. God has given to us the same ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18). You’ve been entrusted with the Gospel, to reach your world for the Lord Jesus. Therefore, your life must be about the Gospel. Refuse to make the lesser things of life your focus.

Paul said, “...necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” (1 Corinthians 9:16). That should be your consciousness. You’re an ambassador and a steward of the mysteries of Christ. Don’t ignore the sinners around you. It’s not God’s will that any should perish (2 Peter 3:9). He wants them saved, and He’s counting on you.

Romans 10:14 says, “...how shall they hear without a preacher?” You’re that preacher. Refuse to be silent. Be bold, be courageous, and preach the Gospel with conviction. This is your time. Take your place, fulfil your mandate with boldness and impact your world for Christ.

CONFESSION
I’m bold, courageous and empowered by the Holy Spirit to preach the Gospel with boldness, power and conviction. I’m an ambassador for Christ, and through me, the Word reaches my world with power, bringing salvation and transformation to many. Hallelujah!

2 Corinthians 5:18-20 KJV
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; [19] To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. [20] Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

1 Corinthians 9:16 KJV
For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

Acts 4:29-31 KJV
And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, [30] By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. [31] And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Romans 10:13-14 KJV
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. [14] How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

*Christ in All of Scripture, Hidden, Revealed, and Fulfilled*

Christ is not an afterthought in the Bible; He is the message from beginning to end. Scripture is not a collection of disconnected stories or moral lessons, it is a single revelation pointing to one Person. In the Old Testament, Christ is concealed in prophecies, promises, events, sacrifices, victories, and even failures. He is present, but hidden, and can only be discerned through careful and diligent study of the Word.

The Bible itself tells us the central theme of Scripture. According to 1 Peter 1:10–11, the prophets searched and inquired diligently, testifying beforehand of the sufferings of Christ and the glory that would follow. This means that everything written was pointing toward Christ’s suffering and His exaltation. Even historical narratives were not merely records of events; they were prophetic shadows. For example, in 1 Samuel 16:13, David was rejected by men yet anointed by God among the same people. This pattern foreshadowed Christ, rejected by His generation yet chosen and exalted by God.

Hebrews 1:1 explains that God spoke in times past through the prophets in fragments and in diverse manners. They spoke through symbols, types, promises, and prophetic actions. They did not see the full picture, but they faithfully recorded what they saw in part. That is why the Old Testament often reads like a puzzle, because Christ had not yet been fully revealed.

Then came the great shift in revelation. John 1:1 and 1:14 declares that the Word, which was with God and was God, became flesh and dwelt among us. What was hidden in shadows became visible in a Person. The Gospels are not merely records of Jesus’ birth; they are the documentation of the incarnation, God taking on human flesh. Christ did not begin in Bethlehem. Scriptures like Micah 5:2, Isaiah 7:14, and Isaiah 9:6 all point to His eternal existence before time.

John 1:3 confirms this truth by stating that all things were made by Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. The same Word who created all things is the Word who became flesh. This shows that Jesus is not a created being, but the eternal Creator who stepped into His own creation.

From Genesis to Malachi, the prophets spoke ahead of time. From Matthew to John, those prophecies were fulfilled. In the Epistles, we behold the meaning, power, and glory that followed His suffering. The Epistles explain what the prophets anticipated and what the Gospels revealed.

In conclusion, Christ is the center, the message, and the fulfillment of all Scripture. The Old Testament concealed Him. The Gospels revealed Him. The Epistles explain Him. To read the Bible correctly is to see Christ in all of it.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES, DAILY DEVOTIONAL ~ PASTOR CHRIS

CONSCIOUSNESS OF HIS INDWELLING PRESENCE

SATURDAY, MAY 2ND, 2026

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you. (1 John 2:27).

Many people keep searching for a second anointing, a third anointing, a “double anointing,” and more. Yet the truth is simple: if you have received the Holy Spirit, you already have the anointing. What you need is to put to work or activate what you already have.

Some have been taught to believe that beyond receiving the Holy Spirit, there’s another special anointing that must come upon them in order to achieve certain results in life and ministry. They fast and pray, not because the Spirit is absent but because they assume what they have isn’t enough.

Then, when miracles begin to happen, they conclude that the “special anointing” has finally come. But the more you study the Scriptures, the clearer it is that such claims cannot be substantiated; they’re assumptions, not divine truths. A simple observation exposes the flaw: many who claim they have received this “special anointing” still return again and again, seeking the same experience.

This shows that nothing new was received because there was nothing new to receive. You cannot receive what you already have. If someone has not received the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is ministered to them, they

can receive Him. But if they already have the Holy Spirit, there’s no separate “extra anointing” coming from heaven that’s different from the Spirit they already received.

The anointing is not something to be pursued in levels. The anointing is the Holy Spirit in you. When this becomes clear, the pursuit shifts from chasing experiences to walking in the consciousness of the Spirit’s indwelling presence.Trust what you’ve received: the Holy Spirit in His fullness: “For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him” (John 3:34). Live in the light of God’s Word; act on the truth, and results will follow.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the Holy Spirit who lives in me in His fullness. I walk in the consciousness of His power and indwelling presence, and I produce results that glorify you, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐒 (𝟖 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐏𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐒)

🔴It's good to look good.

🔴Pay good attention to your personal look.

🔴Dress the way you want to be addressed.

🔴People react to the way you look more, than who you really are.

🔴Good looking people are most likely to be accepted than dirty looking people, Irrespective of how talented they are.

🔴How you dress or look can hinder God's blessings from coming to you. It's true that God doesn't look at the outward appearance of a man but at the heart. In the same way, men don't look at your heart either but your outward appearance. Men judge by what they see. Remember, we live among men here on earth.

🌀These are 8 important points for you.

🔴𝐏𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝟏 — If God is going to use someone to bless you, you have to dress for the opportunity.

🔴𝐏𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝟐 — An opportunity can pass you by just because of the way you look.

🔴𝐏𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝟑 — Dress for where you are going and not where you are coming from.

🔴𝐏𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝟒 — Stop dressing or looking as if the whole world is on your shoulders. It doesn't bring any glory to your heavenly Father.

🔴𝐏𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝟓 — Dress like a child of a king, for your heavenly Father takes pleasure in your good looking.

🔴𝐏𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝟔 — Looking good is not the same thing as looking expensive. I'm not saying you should look flamboyant or expensive, just look good.

🔴𝐏𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝟕 — Whatever you have, put it on with dignity. Wash it, clean it, polish it, iron it and put it on like a king.

🔴𝐏𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝟖 — At the end, Put up a beautiful smile on your face, walk like a child of the King of kings.

THEME: HE IS LORD JESUS

And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last (Revelation 1:17).

To walk with the Lord Jesus and truly serve Him, you must know who He really is. You can’t honour Him if you don’t know Him. You can’t love Him if you don’t know Him. Oftentimes, the way some call His Name reveals whether or not they truly recognise His divine identity and supreme lordship.

For example, after His resurrection and ascension, no one who addressed Him called Him Jesus; they called Him Lord Jesus. He’s Lord Jesus! That’s what those who truly encountered Him called Him. Consider Saul of Tarsus; he was knocked down by divine power on the road to Damascus and said, “Who are you, Lord?”

The moment he heard the answer, “I am Jesus”, his reverence changed because he had a real encounter. Read it as Luke puts it: "And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks" (Acts 9:4-5).

Many say they have seen Him, yet continue to address Him without reverence. A true encounter with the glorified Christ transforms how you speak to Him or about Him. You recognise His majesty. You honour His lordship. John the Apostle saw Him in glory on the Isle of Patmos, and his response was recorded in Revelation 1:17: “...When I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead....” He fell under the power, because of the manifestation of divine glory. Then the Master laid His hand upon him and spoke a blessing: “Fear not; I am the first and the last.” This is the glorified Christ.

Your worship, your words, and your life should reflect the greatest honour, the deepest awe, and the utmost reverence for Him. He is “…the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works” (Titus 2:13-14). He’s Lord of all, and Lord of heaven and earth (Acts 10:36, Acts 17:24).

PRAYER

Blessed Lord Jesus, I thank you for unveiling your lordship and glory to my spirit. My worship, my words, and my life reflect the greatest honour, the deepest awe, and the utmost reverence for your majesty, unparalleled greatness, dominion, great glory, and everlasting reign. Amen.

PASTOR CHRIS

Let’s give Him reverence and never use His name as an exclamation mark or to swear with.
Stop saying GHAI unless you’re talking to or about God. Israelis had so much reverence for God, they never wrote His name carelessly.

The body of Christ needs this reminder:

Chad Gonzales Ministries

“And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.”
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This one’s been used for years to justify sickness: “See, even Paul had a thorn in the flesh.”

But let’s look closer.

In the Old Testament, thorns always represented people or persecution that opposed God’s plan, never sickness or disease.

Every time the phrase is used (Numbers 33:55, Joshua 23:13), it describes those who resisted God’s people, not a physical condition.

When Paul said “a thorn in the flesh was given to me,” he was talking about persecution stirred up by the enemy everywhere he went, people rose up to stop the Gospel.

It wasn’t a disease… it was resistance. And the grace God gave Paul wasn’t grace to tolerate pain…it was grace to keep advancing.

God doesn’t use sickness to humble us. He empowers us to overcome every opposition to the message of Christ in you.

And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES, DAILY DEVOTIONAL, SATURDAY 14TH MARCH 2026. PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

TOPIC ✨ KNOWLEDGE THAT EDIFIES ✨

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge (2 Peter 1:5).

The increased knowledge of God’s Word is so important for your consistent growth, progress, productivity and effectiveness in life. That’s why the Spirit, through the Apostle Peter, tells us to add knowledge to
faith and virtue.

Interestingly, the word translated “knowledge” in the verse above is the Greek word “gnōsis,” which refers to scientific or general knowledge gained through study and information. This is not revelation knowledge but information you gather by reading, studying and learning.

So, in essence, the Lord is saying don’t be ignorant. Open your mind and be versatile. Learn a little more about everything. Some people know nothing beyond what they studied in school for exams, and they remain mentally stagnant. That’s not God’s plan for you. He wants you to be studious and increasingly knowledgeable. Knowledge empowers. Knowledge gives you an advantage.

So, decide you’re going to be deliberate in studying the Word, not an accidental glance once in a while. Set your targets; make it a lifestyle. Build your mind with useful information. Expand your horizon. This doesn’t mean keeping up with the news and saturating your life with the
lies, deceit and fear peddled by the world’s media. Rather, fill your heart and your mind with knowledge that edifies and strengthens your faith. That’s the kind of knowledge to add to your life.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the knowledge of your Word that fills my heart and by which I live triumphantly every day. Thank you for your grace and peace that are multiplied in my life as I study and meditate on your Word, causing me to be increasingly fruitful, productive
and effective in life and ministry, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
Proverbs 18:15;
The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.

Hosea 4:6;
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Colossians 1:9;
For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

2 Peter 1:2-3
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
