SICOCUSA Independent Electoral Commission has approved the following Interim Office Bearers after a successful vetting process:

• Vincent Odundo – Interim President
• Enoch Oganga – Interim Secretary General
• Lilian Oduor – Interim Treasurer

We extend our sincere congratulations to the approved leaders and wish them success as they steer the Association during this transition period. We encourage all members to accord them the support and cooperation needed to advance the mission and vision of SICOCUSA.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT

The Siaya County College and University Students’ Association (SICOCUSA) has officially announced the dissolution of the current Executive Office with immediate effect, pursuant to Article 9(g) of the SICOCUSA Constitution.

To ensure continuity in leadership and institutional operations, interim office bearers have been nominated pending the establishment of a substantive leadership through the forthcoming SICOCUSA General Elections 2026.

The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) has been mandated to conduct a comprehensive scrutiny and vetting process in accordance with the constitutional provisions governing the Association.

This transition signifies a renewed commitment to accountability, transparency, constitutionalism, and effective student leadership within SICOCUSA.

We remain committed to ensuring a peaceful, credible, and transparent transition process as the Association prepares for the next phase of leadership.
