HANGZHOU, China – Mount Kenya University (MKU) is making significant strides in positioning itself at the forefront of educational innovation, with Vice-Chancellor Prof. Deogratius JAGANYI leading a high-level delegation to China this week to spearhead the full integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the university’s learning systems.

Prof. JAGANYI is currently in Hangzhou city attending a prestigious international conference on “AI+Education: Transformation, Development, Governance.” The conference, hosted by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province, has brought together global education leaders to explore how AI is reshaping knowledge production, teaching methodologies, and assessment mechanisms. The conference was officially opened by the Chinese Vice-President Mr. Hanzheng

TVET Graduation Ceremony.
May Intake Applications Ongoing

Yesterday, PS Muoria directed that TVET students should, during graduation, wear discipline-specific professional attire aimed at improving the marketability of their skills.

At this point, we may need to consult the gods at the Botanical Gardens of Egerton University to decode the logic behind this move and explain how a graduation outfit change suddenly translates into improved graduate output.
