The Wumingu Technical and Vocational College (TVC) fraternity was all smiles as they welcomed the area Member of Parliament for Wundanyi, Hon. Danson Mwashako, the Deputy County Commissioner, officers from the State Department for Housing and Urban Development, and the project contractor to the college grounds for the technical handover of the proposed construction of a studentsโ village and associated infrastructure.
The visit marked a key milestone in the realization of the project, which is expected to significantly enhance student welfare and improve the institutionโs learning environment.
In addition to providing accommodation, the project will also serve as a practical learning environment for trainees undertaking technical courses such as masonry, plumbing, electrical engineering, building technology, and ICT, thereby strengthening the institutionโs hands-on training approach.
