We, the members of the Paragon International University United Nations, are determined to contribute to the effort in saving succeeding generations from the scourge of war, which twice in our lifetime has brought untold sorrow to mankind, and to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of nations large and sm

all, and to understand how UN establishes conditions under which justice and respect for the obligations arising from treaties and other sources of international law can be maintained, and promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom.

⚜️ PIUMUN 2025–2026 Mock Simulation ⚜️

PIUMUN is pleased to announce its upcoming Mock Simulation, an essential stage in preparing delegates for the upcoming MUN Simulation.

Under the topic, “Addressing the Escalation of the United States–Iran Conflict: Diplomatic De-escalation, Civilian Protection, Energy Security, and Stability in the Strait of Hormuz,” delegates will represent their assigned countries, articulate national positions, and engage in formal diplomatic debate through moderated and unmoderated caucuses.

⚜️ PIUMUN 2025–2026 Seminar Highlights ⚜️

Our seminar on "The United States–Iran Conflict: Historical Foundations, Regional Security Dynamics, and Prospects for Diplomatic De-escalation" brought together members for an engaging and thought-provoking discussion on one of the most significant issues in contemporary international relations.

🌍 PIUMUN Roundtable Discussion 🌍

We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming Roundtable Discussion on "Why Nations Fail to Cooperate: Exploring the Barriers to Collective Action in International Relations."

Engaging with U.S. Diplomacy! 🇺🇸🤝

PIUMUN (Paragon International University Model United Nations Club) was honored to organize a site visit to the U.S. Embassy Phnom Penh, where our members were warmly welcomed to AmCam Exchange for an insightful discussion on U.S. foreign policy in the Indo-Pacific, as well as internship and career opportunities available to young Cambodians. We also got the opportunity tour inside the embassy to take a look of what real life diplomacy experiences.

Our members gained firsthand insight into the Embassy’s role in advancing American interests in Cambodia and the many dimensions of the U.S.-Cambodia relationship.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the U.S. Embassy Phnom Penh for their generous hospitality, time, and for sharing such valuable perspectives with the next generation of young Cambodian leaders. This experience has been truly inspiring and has deepened our understanding of diplomacy and international cooperation.

⚜️PIUMUN Academic Site Visit to NIDIR- MFAIC⚜️

On the morning of 2 July 2026, 23 members of the Paragon International University Model United Nations Club, accompanied by our faculty advisor, Dr. Bulat Akhmetkarimov, had the valuable opportunity to visit the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations, under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

During the visit, Mr. Khieu Rithya, Vice-President of NIDIR, delivered an insightful presentation on Cambodia’s foreign policy directions, as well as the structure and core functions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The session also included an interactive exchange of views, allowing our members to deepen their understanding of Cambodia’s diplomacy, foreign policy priorities, and the Ministry’s important role in strengthening Cambodia’s engagement on the international stage.

We extend our sincere gratitude to NIDIR, Mr. Khieu Rithya, and the organizing team for the warm hospitality, valuable knowledge, and meaningful discussion. This visit provided our members with a deeper appreciation of diplomacy and inspired them to continue exploring careers in international relations and foreign affairs. 🌐✨

We sincerely thank the Embassy of the Republic of Singapore for warmly welcoming and hosting our PIUMUN delegation. We truly appreciate the opportunity for our 21 members to learn from Ambassador Pang about Singapore's perspectives on diplomacy, regional cooperation, and the importance of dialogue and mutual understanding in fostering strong international partnerships.

We sincerely thank the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia for warmly welcoming and hosting our PIUMUN delegation. We truly appreciate the opportunity for our 23 members to learn from Mr. Krishnajie Partadireja, Minister Counsellor, about diplomatic practices, Cambodia–Indonesia relations, and the role of KBRI in strengthening bilateral cooperation.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Sidavid Sin for taking the time to accompany PIUMUN throughout the visit. His continuous support and guidance greatly contributed to making this educational experience meaningful for our members.

PIUMUN successfully organized an educational site visit to the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations (NIDIR) on the morning of 2 July 2026! 🎉

Together with 23 of our members, we were honored to be accompanied by Dr. Bulat Akhmetkarimov throughout the visit. We extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Bulat for taking the time to join us and for his continuous support.

During the session, participants had the valuable opportunity to learn from Mr. Khieu Rithya, Vice President of NIDIR, about Cambodia’s foreign policy directions and the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC).
