EK Bunly is a Lecturer in the Department of International Relations and the Director of the Office of Student Services at Paragon International University. He earned his master’s degree in Global Studies, with a concentration in International Security and Foreign Policy in East Asia, from Yonsei University (South Korea) through the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) program. He completed his bachelor’s degree in International Relations at Paragon International University (Cambodia). Bunly is a 2025 Young Leader at the Pacific Forum, an American think tank based in Hawaii, and a research fellow at the Cambodian Center for Regional Studies (CCRS). His research and publications focus on the Cambodia’s relations with the Korean Peninsula, Northeast Asian security dynamics, and ASEAN. His broader research interests include South Korea–ASEAN relations, East Asian Politics, the foreign policy of the Korean Peninsula, and great power rivalry.
