The Turbomachinery Laboratory at Hanyang University (TL at HYU) conducts fundamental and advanced research on performance of modern turbomachinery. We perform comprehensive measurements and predictions of the rotordynamic characteristics of turbomachinery. We also focuse on experimentally validated computational fluid film models for the prediction of the static and dynamic forced performance of f

luid film bearings, seals, and dampers. We always deliver our sponsors practical and valuable solutions, not just simply analysis results and test data. TL at HYU offers graduate engineering education through the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Hanyang University. We can provide intensive short courses (such as rotordynamics, fundamentals of fluid film bearings, foil bearings, gas bearings, etc.) to users of industrial turbomachinery.

R&D Dynamics Corporation received an award from the U.S. Department of Energy to develop air management system compressors for heavy-duty truck applications as part of the Million Mile Fuel Cell Truck (M2FCT) program. The goal of the M2FCT program is to achieve 1 million miles of reliable fuel cell operation for long-haul transportation truck application.
