✨ Winter Cultural Experience at Suwon University ✨
On February 9, 2026, the Korean Language & Culture Education Center at Suwon University hosted a special traditional seal-making workshop for international students enrolled in the 2025 Winter Semester program.
To accommodate the winter season, the activity was held indoors for the first time with a professional instructor. Students had the chance to design and create their own traditional Korean seals — a unique cultural experience that many could take home as a meaningful souvenir 🪵🖋️
Although seal making was unfamiliar to many participants, clear guidance from instructors and hands-on practice made the experience accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Beyond crafting, students naturally communicated in Korean throughout the process, turning the activity into a valuable opportunity to improve real-life Korean speaking skills.
International students from Russia, Belarus, Indonesia, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Congo, Kazakhstan, and more joined the program, highlighting Suwon University’s growing global community 🌍
The Korean Language & Culture Education Center continues to support international students through high-quality online and offline Korean language programs, diverse cultural activities, and active SNS outreach. With strong partnerships with overseas universities, more students are now completing the one-year Korean language program, earning TOPIK Level 3, and successfully advancing to Suwon University’s undergraduate programs.
💬 “We will continue to strengthen our programs so international students can experience high-quality Korean language education and meaningful cultural activities,” a center representative shared.
