SUNY Korea was established in March 2012 as the first American university in Korea’s only smart city, Songdo. SUNY Korea represents a groundbreaking effort to provide world-class education across the globe. Currently, SUNY Korea is offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Technological Systems Management, Applied Mathematics and Statistics, E

lectrical and Computer Engineering, and Business Management from Stony Brook University (SBU). We also offer Fashion Design and Fashion Business Management through the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Students in these programs have the opportunity to take courses in Korea and the U.S. At both locations, students can expect the same high-quality curricula and faculty that have become a hallmark of the State University of New York system.

Build advanced skills in data science through a rigorous, interdisciplinary program jointly offered by the Departments of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics & Statistics at SUNY Korea Stony Brook University.
This program combines strong theoretical foundations with hands-on learning to prepare students for careers in AI, machine learning, data analytics, and beyond.

Our Story

SUNY Korea was established in March 2012 as the first American university founded in Korea’s only smart city, Songdo. It is also the first global campus inaugurated at the Incheon Global Campus, and in an effort to provide global education to students is the first SUNY and Stony Brook University (SBU)campus built outside of the U.S. Every year, SUNY Korea continues to expand its program offerings in a variety of academic fields such as engineering, fashion, science, business, and more.

Currently, SUNY Korea is offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Technological Systems Management, Applied Mathematics and Statistics, and Business Management from Stony Brook University (SBU) and Fashion Design and Fashion Business Management from Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). The students in these programs will have the opportunity to take courses both in Korea and the U.S. In order to ensure identical quality of education, all program courses are the same as that of the home campuses. Upon graduation, all students receive a diploma issued by their respective institutions.

한국뉴욕주립대학교는 2012년 3월 한국의 유일한 스마트시티인 송도에 세워진 최초의 미국 대학교입니다. 한국정부는 글로벌 교육을 제공하기 위해 뉴욕주립대학교 (SUNY)와 스토니브룩대학교 (Stony Brook University, SBU)에서 출범하여 미국 밖의 첫 캠퍼스로 인천글로벌캠퍼스를 설립하였습니다. 한국뉴욕주립대학교는 매년 꾸준히 교육 프로그램을 확장하고 있으며 현재 공학, 기술, 패션, 과학 등 다양한 학문 프로그램을 제공하고 있습니다.

현재 한국뉴욕주립대학교는 스토니브룩대학교의 컴퓨터과학, 기계공학, 기술경영학, 응용수학통계학 그리고 경영학의 학부와 대학원 학위 프로그램을 제공하고 있으며 패션기술대학교의 패션디자인학, 패션경영학의 준학사 과정을 제공하고 있습니다. 한국뉴욕주립대학교의 모든 수업은 미국 홈캠퍼스 교육과정과 동일하게 진행되며 학생들에게 미국과 동일한 수준의 교육을 보장하기 위해 미국 홈캠퍼스에서도 공부할 기회를 제공합니다. 학위 수여 시, 모든 학생은 미국 홈캠퍼스의 학위를 받게 됩니다.
