⭐2021 International Studies Major Info Session⭐

Hello everyone! 👋👋
This is the International Studies Major Emergency Exigency Committee.

We are going to hold the 2021 International Studies Major Info Session to give students a chance to learn more about the IS major and meet alumni!

The info session will be open to any and all students who are planning to major in the IS major or who are interested in it. The info session will aim to provide information and advice about the IS major, courses and career paths. Also, a Q&A session will take place for students to freely ask questions.

📌 The info session will be held on Friday, November 5th, from 6:30 PM~7:30 PM KST.
📌 The ZOOM link for the info session will be provided later.
📌 Professor John Delury and two alumni (Minha Baek and Han Kwan Woo) will be joining the session.
📍Minha Baek: Human Resources Team at Coupang (IT & E-commerce sector)
📍Han Kwan Woo: Global Asia Fellow at the East Asia Foundation (Public Policy sector). He is one of the predecessors of the IS major representative!

IS 전공 비상대책위원회입니다.

저희는 학생들이 IS 전공에 대해 더 많이 배우고, 동문들을 만날 수 있는 기회를 주기 위해 2021 IS 전공 설명회를 개최할 예정입니다!

IS를 전공하실 분들이나 IS에 관심이 있는 학생이라면 누구나 이번 설명회에 참여하실 수 있습니다. 이번 설명회는 IS 전공과 수업, 진로에 대한 정보와 조언을 제공하는 것을 목표로 합니다. 또한 학생들이 자유롭게 질문할 수 있는 질의응답 시간도 마련될 예정입니다.

📌 설명회는 11월 5일 금요일 오후 6시 30분부터 7시 30분까지 진행됩니다.

🍕2019-2 IS LUNCH 🍕

polarIS successfully held official IS Lunch of 2019 second semester! It was a good opportunity for professors and undergraduates to mingle and listen to each other and appreciate each other’s efforts. Above all things, the pizza was so good 🤤

We are IS Representative Hyundong Choi and Vice Representative Yebin Kim.

We are here to recruit new members of IS student council to support and give help to IS major students.

But, wait! Are you unsure of what kind of work student council does?

To briefly explain, 13th International Studies Major Student Council “polarIS” pursues communication between students’ as a top priority value.

By doing the duties

✅ from implementing official major events ✅
such as
✔️communicating with GSIS,
✔️preparing info sessions and alumni talks,
✔️conducting IS conferences and meetings,

‼️ to working on not really official but important events‼️
such as
✔️planning on major MTs
