Sogang had a honorable visit of the Pope Francis at 15 August, 2014. the Pope looked around the campus and gave his glorious blessings to all students and priests he met on campus. Popes officially visited South Korea twice by now, in 1984 and 2014, and Sogang was proudly chosen for one of visit places at both times. I hope that all students at Sogang will have a great and manifold blessing!

I am really excited to announce a good news that the current Seogang Station of subway line G will be officially renamed as 'Sogang University Station' from next week. You will never find any universities in Korea which can be reached by more than 3 subway lines like Sogang. How is it lucky being a proud member of Sogang?

Can you see the president of Sogang in the picture? And guess whom he has met? Yes, The great Pope Francis! The president of Sogang recently visited the Vatican, which Sogang belongs to, and he explained Sogang's future master plan to whom are from the Vatican. Sogang was told from them that relationship between Sogang and the Vatican will be more and more faithful. Be proud, Albatrosses! We are the proud members of the prestigious Jesuit education system!

Sometimes, life feels cruel to us. we are easily overwhelmed by challenging tasks given to us everyday, and we are exhausted sometimes in the middle of the day. Do you have your own place to hide whenever you need a time to think alone at a hard time like that? If you don't have any yet, how about coming to this sacred place and having a quiet time with your eyes closed?. The Ignatius Chapel plays a great role as a hideout for meditation, not only stays as a chapel for Mass itself. Where on earth can we find another warm-hearted school like Sogang?.
Sogang is the best school for me, and for you.

Is there any movie that you are unfamiliar with? Maybe not, right? you can see some names of movies ranked first in annual box office, some movies became famous after winning a prize in movie festivals including 'Cannes', 'Venice' and 'Sundance', and others were deeply impressed to people's mind because it contributed to change Korean society.
