🙏 Happy Asala Poya Day 🙏
Asala Poya is one of the most sacred and significant full moon days for Buddhists around the world. It commemorates the occasion when the Buddha delivered His First Sermon (Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta) to the five ascetics at Isipatana, setting the Wheel of Dhamma in motion. This historic event also marked the establishment of the Buddhist Sangha, as the first disciples attained enlightenment and became the first members of the monastic community.
This blessed day reminds us to strengthen our faith through generosity, morality, meditation, and compassion while cultivating kindness, wisdom, patience, and peace in our daily lives.

ඇසළ පෝය දිනය බෞද්ධ ජනතාවට ඉතා වැදගත් හා පූජනීය දිනයකි. මෙම පින්බර දිනයේ බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ විසින් ඉසිපතන මිගදායේදී පස්වග මහණුන්ට ප්රථම ධර්ම දේශනය වූ ධම්මචක්කප්පවත්තන සූත්රය දේශනා කළ අතර, ඒ සමඟම බුදු සසුනේ ආරම්භය සනිටුහන් විය. එමෙන්ම පළමු සංඝරත්නය ලොව පහළ වූයේද මෙම පින්බර ඇසළ පෝය දිනයේදීය.
මෙම උතුම් පෝය දිනය අප සැමට දන්, සීල, භාවනා ආදී පින්කම්වල නිරත වෙමින්, මෛත්රිය, කරුණාව, ඉවසීම සහ යහපත් ගුණ වර්ධනය කර ගනිමින් ජීවිතය ආලෝකමත් කර ගැනීමට මඟ පෙන්වයි.

ஆசாளா பௌர்ணமி (Asala Poya) புத்தமதத்தினருக்கு மிகவும் புனிதமானதும் முக்கியத்துவம் வாய்ந்ததுமான நாளாகும். இந்த புனித நாளில்தான் புத்தர், இசிபத்தன மிருகதாய வனத்தில் ஐந்து துறவிகளுக்கு தனது முதல் தர்ம உபதேசமான தம்மசக்கப்பவத்தன சூத்திரத்தை அருளினார். இதன் மூலம் தர்மச் சக்கரம் சுழலத் தொடங்கியது. மேலும், முதல் அரஹந்தர்கள் உருவாகி, பௌத்த சங்கம் நிறுவப்பட்ட வரலாற்றுச் சிறப்புமிக்க நாளும் இதுவே ஆகும்.
இந்த புனித நாள், தானம், சீலம், தியானம் ஆகிய நற்பண்புகளை வளர்த்துக் கொண்டு, கருணை, அன்பு, ஞானம், பொறுமை மற்றும் அமைதியுடன் வாழ்வதற்கான ஊக்கத்தை நமக்கு வழங்குகிறது.
இந்த புனித ஆசாளா பௌர்ணமி தினம் உங்கள் குடும்பத்திற்கும், அன்புக்குரியோருக்கும் அமைதி, மகிழ்ச்சி, ஆரோக்கியம் மற்றும் அனைத்து நல்வாழ்வுகளையும் வழங்க இறைவனைப் பிரார்த்திக்கிறோம்.
