Here you're seeing the games that took place in our Awrudu Festival. Ranging from "kana mutti", keeping the elephants eye, tug of war, passing flour, board games, choosing of Awrudu kumari and kumara and much more. Plus we even held a village marathon!

In addition to games we had our Awrudu rituals such as boiling milk and making typical Awrudu foods.

As special events we had our most awaited "Angampura" event which is a an ancient Sri Lankan fighting art and dances, all which were performed by the students of IUHS.

A musical show took place, lead by Mr Heshan Gamage and his band.

Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Udayanga, a renowned expert in his field, who provided our students with an unforgettable training session. He took our students to the beautiful city of Galle and challenged them to think creatively by taking away their phones and wallets. Divided into groups, our students had to find ways to add value and earn money to pay for lunch and travel back to campus.

At our campus, we believe that learning goes beyond the classroom and we strive to provide our students with diverse experiences that prepare them for the real world.
