We are delighted to congratulate Miss. S. N. S. B. Tharumal Pabasara Situbandara , a student of the Galle Regional Centre, Ocean University of Sri Lanka, for securing 1st Place in Maritime and Logistics Management under the Public Sector TVET Institutions Category – Stage 1: Intra-Institutional Competitions of the World Youth Skills Day (WYSD) 2026 Skills Competition.

This outstanding achievement is a testament to her dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence. We are also proud to announce that, with this achievement, she has been selected to represent Ocean University of Sri Lanka at the National-Level Competition.

Notice to Parents--Students of Ocean University who were residing in boarding houses located in potential flood-prone areas near the Kelani River have been successfully evacuated to the new university building and other safe accommodations situated on higher ground.

All necessary arrangements have been made to ensure their safety and wellbeing. Parents are kindly advised not to worry. Meals will be provided with the support of the Colombo Divisional Secretariat, university resources, and student assistance.
