RICS Empowering Future Professionals: Knowledge, Skills & Global Exposure_March 2026

The SLIIT, RICS Student Engagement Session on 25th March 2026 was a great success offering SLIIT Quantity Surveying students valuable insights into career pathways, professional qualifications, and global opportunities in Quantity Surveying and the construction industry.

We were privileged to have Prof. Chitra Weddikkara (FRICS) deliver an inspiring keynote, with valuable contributions from Mr. Hemantha Bandara (MRICS).

From Theory to Practice: Mastering SLS 573 for the Sri Lankan Construction Industry March 2026

Standard Methods of Measurement, a 3-day Workshop at Digital Quantity Surveying Lab, gave our students a valuable hands-on learning experience in Quantity Surveying, guided by Prof. (Mrs.) Anuradha Waidyasekara from the University of Moratuwa.

An interactive and insightful session that helped students turn theory into practice while enhancing their technical skills and confidence.
