The Department of Finance, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce of University of Sri Jayewardenepura is one of the most prominent departments in the university and country in the field of finance, that offers the B.Sc. The primary focus of the department is to produce finance literate high quality graduates who are professionally fluent in financial market activities and other financing deci

sions in the corporate environment. Over the past two decades, the department has produced over 2000+ highly skilled finance graduates and holds ownership to a proud history for being one of the prominent and highly demanded departments in the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce. The finance graduates of the department are highly qualified individuals, holding office in leading positions in prominent organizations in the country, steering the finance arm of the society. The newly formed Finance Alumni Association (FAA) is the official alumnus body of the finance department. It was formed with the prime purpose of enriching and enhancing the bond between the department and its undergraduates with the proud members of the alumnus of the department. The Association is established with the motto of ‘Stay connected to the past and build for the future.’

The Association is headed by the President and Executive Committee, who are monitored by the Advisor attached to the Department of Finance. The Finance Alumni Association (FAA) aims to enhance networking among members representing all the batches and also to strengthen the bond between the undergraduates and the Alumni to promote effective collaborations. The Association functions with the motive to enhance the finance knowledge both within the university and society to build a better tomorrow.
