Final Year Field Visit - Gal-Oya Plantations (PVT)

We, the E18 Batch of Mechanical Engineering students from South Eastern University of Sri Lanka, had the privilege to visit Gal-Oya Plantations (PVT) for our final year field study. This visit provided us with valuable experience and knowledge about sugar production processes and its byproducts.

We express our sincere gratitude to Gal-Oya Plantations for their warm hospitality and support. A special thanks to our Head of Department (HOD) and our Lecturers for organizing and guiding us throughout this memorable experience.

🌟 Annual General Meeting & Welcome Event – MES 🌟
On October 29, 2024, we came together for a memorable evening, celebrating both our past and future. The Mechanical Engineering Society (MES) hosted our Annual General Meeting, marking the transition from the dedicated 2023/2024 Board to a new team of enthusiastic board members for 2024/2025.

In addition to honoring our outgoing board, we had the pleasure of welcoming the E21 students to the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the MES family! It was a night filled with inspiring moments, laughter, and camaraderie, as we celebrated the start of their journey with us.
