Sustainable Development in Action ๐ŸŒฑ

MBBS Batch 37 recently presented their group projects focusing on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as part of the Professional Development and Family Medicine Strand (PDFMS).

Guided by Prof. Nirmala Perera, Chairperson of the Faculty of Medicine Green Practices Committee, the students engaged with great enthusiasm in planning and implementing their projects over the past two monthsโ€”despite their demanding academic schedules. Their commitment, creativity and teamwork were truly commendable.

The Department extends its sincere appreciation to Dr Amila Jerwandara, Faculty of Computing and Technology, and Prof. Nayana Gunathilake, Faculty of Medicine, for kindly serving on the judging panel and supporting the students in this initiative.

Our heartfelt thanks to Kanchuka for his hard work, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional conscientiousness throughout his time with us. You were someone who never said no, and no request ever seemed too big!
