The Faculty of Computing at General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (Southern Campus) successfully hosted a two-day Robotic Process Engineering Workshop on the 2nd and 3rd of May 2025. The workshop was conducted for undergraduates of Intake 41 and Intake 42 enrolled in the BSc (Hons) in Information Technology and BSc (Hons) in Information Systems degree programs.
Organized by the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Computing, the initiative aimed to strengthen students’ theoretical understanding and practical expertise in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), focusing on the application of Microsoft Power Platform tools—critical competencies in today’s enterprise technology landscape.

Throughout the program, students engaged in hands-on activities focused on designing, automating, and optimizing business processes using cutting-edge digital tools.
