Pwo Kayin Theological Seminary - PKTS

To God be the Glory!

Today has been one of the most joyful and praise-filled days in the history of our PKTS community.
The women's dormitory, a building that has faithfully stood for more than a century, has now been beautifully renovated and rededicated as the Missionary M. M. Rose Memorial Hall (1912). We were truly grateful to gather today to dedicate this renewed building to the glory of God.
We give thanks to God for His faithful guidance throughout this journey. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to every donor whose generous support made this renovation possible. Your kindness and partnership will always be remembered with gratitude.
May God's abundant blessings continue to rest upon each and every one of you.
Amen!

🙏 PKTS Prayer Day 🙏

Today, we observed PKTS Prayer Day with hearts united in prayer and thanksgiving. Throughout the day, we sought God’s presence through Chain Prayer, reflected on His Word, studied together, shared meaningful discussions, and participated in services of dedication and worship.

We are deeply grateful for God’s unfailing grace and faithfulness toward Pwo Karen Theological Seminary (PKTS). May the Lord continue to bless, strengthen, and guide our seminary as we prepare faithful servants for His Kingdom.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” — Psalm 136:1

Today, we celebrated the dedication service for the opening of the PKTS Canteen. We are delighted to reopen a canteen, which is an important part of university life and campus culture.

One of the greatest joys of being a university student/seminarian is spending time in the canteen with friends—sharing meals, laughing together, enjoying meaningful conversations, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. We hope this canteen will become a place of fellowship, friendship, and cherished moments for every member of the PKTS family.

Today, PKTS held a special awareness talk on earthquake preparedness for our students.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Dr. Ngwe Khaing for sharing his knowledge and making this program possible. Thank you for your valuable contribution.
