Faculty of Religious Studies and Philosophy - USJ Macao 聖若瑟大學宗教研究及哲學學院 A community of scholars and students engaged in researching, teaching and studying the disciplines of Philosophy and Theology. 由學者及學生組成的學術團體，參與研教哲學、神學，及相關輔助科目。

Our Religious Studies programmes are designed to cater to the needs of two classes of students:

本學院的宗教研究課程適合以下兩類學生所需：

(1) Those enrolled in the degree of Bachelor of Christian Studies. This is meant for anyone interested in an initial degree in Catholic theology – whether they be members of the Catholic lay faithful, religious men/women, those preparing for the diocesan priesthood or even simple

men and women of goodwill, who wish to know more. For those preparing for the ordained ministry in the Catholic Church, who require a canonical Bachelor’s degree in Catholic Theology, a Foundational Year in Philosophy is offered. The Bachelor of Christian Studies prepares students for teaching and pastoral ministries, or further studies in Theology. (1) 為報讀基督宗教研究學士學位者。這課程乃為任何有意修讀天主教神學始步學位人士，包括天主教平信徒、獻身修道男女、準備成為教區司鐸的修生，及一般希望求知的善志大眾。為準備在天主教會領受聖職，需要取得教會認可之天主教神學學士學位者，本學院另附設一年哲學先修課程。基督宗教研究學士學位旨在培訓學生日後從事教學及牧民事工，或神學深造。

(2) Those who wish to do a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Religious Studies or Philosophy. These graduate programmes train students to develop a deeper understanding of religion and its relation to society and culture. Different religious traditions are explored through comparative and thematic studies in their specific historical and cultural contexts. (2) 為報讀宗教或哲學研究碩士或博士者。這兩級研究課程旨在培訓學生加深理解宗教及其與社會文化之關係。課程會藉比較和主題研讀，按各自特有的歷史和文化背景去分析不同宗教傳統。

The Faculty of Religious Studies and Philosophy also hosts lectures, conferences, and evening classes for all comers from local society, seeking always to witness to Christ and to foster a sense of belonging to a vibrant intellectual and faith community.

本宗教研究及哲學學院亦主辦講座、會議，和夜間課程，開放予本澳社會各界人士參與，以祈時刻為基督做見證並增強本院作為一個有活力的學術暨信仰團體的歸屬感。

聖大迎新日義工招募

The Office for Student and Alumni Affairs (OSAA) is recruiting student volunteers for the upcoming USJ Orientation Programme 2026/2027. When the new academic year begins, a group of new students will join the USJ family. They will need our support and assistance to familiarize themselves with the campus, understand campus life, and prepare for the start of classes. For international students, they also face the challenge to adapt quickly to the new environment. As their seniors, you are the best guides for them. Your enthusiasm, experience, and support will provide them with the warmest welcome.
