Alt Spring Break at 🫶🏼🤟🏽We had a day full of learning and service projects. Students engaged in activities that taught them about landscaping and the care of farm animals specifically alpacas. They witnessed what it is like to shear ✂️ and alpaca, which is a once-a-year experience, and all the products that can be made from alpaca fleece. In collaboration with 🧡🦙

Fall in Love with Learning workshop in full swing!

We learned about the solar system, the human heart, the importance of foundation in architecture (through competitive building), collaboratively built robotic vehicle models, explored how mental health impacts your thinking, sea turtle conservation, the benefits of of swimming, and engaged in crafting activities. Student Accessibility Services was also present to share their resources.

Life Skills & Adulting🧓🏻

Staff presented on a range of topics like reading, travel hacks, imposter syndrome, coping strategies, car maintenance, time manag, meal prep on a budget, apartment searching tips, relationships, couponing, and voting rights. Being an adult is overrated, but we are ready for it!! 🥙🚗
