Bachelor of New Media Communication Faculty of Applied and Human Sciences / Fakulti Sains Gunaan dan Kemanusiaan (FSGM), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP)

Centre for Communication Technology and Human Development (PTKPI), formerly known as the Center for Communication Skills and Entrepreneurship (PKKK) serves as a Service Center tasked with managing the compulsory courses at this university. In 2014, PTKPI started to advancing, striding upon the approval of the Ministry of Education to offer a new program, the Bachelor of New Media Communications. H

owever, the original function PTKPI in offering compulsory core subject and university students remain. In accordance with the meeting minutes of the Higher Education Committee Bil.6 on 26 September 2013, it was agreed that the new program is placed under PTKPI, and the Center is upgraded as a School to be known as the School of Human Development and Teknokomunikasi (iKOM). Now, on 15 September 2020, it restructured to become the Faculty of Applied and Human Sciences.

Sekitar lawatan Albukhary International University (AIU) ke iKOM UniMAP. Delegasi AIU diketuai oleh YBrs. Prof. Dr. Nor. Hashimah Binti Hashim Dekan, Pusat Pengajian Pendidikan dan Sains Kemanusian, Albukhari International University dan disambut oleh YBrs. Prof. Madya Dr. Huzili Hussin, Dekan Pusat Pengajian Pembangunan Insan dan Teknokomunikasi.
