On 12 & 14 May 2026, an academic visit session involving students from the BPE4533 Industrial Control & Automation course was conducted at the Machining Lab, Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology (FTKPM).
The visit involved students from the Bachelor Degree of Industrial Technology Management (ITM), Faculty of Industrial Management. Throughout the session, students were exposed to various industrial technologies and equipment including CNC machines, injection moulding machines, and several automated machines commonly used in modern manufacturing industries.
The programme aimed to provide practical exposure to students on manufacturing technologies and industrial automation applications, in line with current learning needs and the advancement of Industry 4.0 (IR4.0).
Special appreciation is extended to Dr. Asrul Adam for sharing valuable knowledge, insights, and hands-on industrial exposure throughout the visit session.
It is hoped that programmes like this will continue to enhance students’ understanding and interest in industrial technology and real-world industrial practices.
