ISET 2026 is delighted to welcome the Journal of Water and Environmental Nanotechnology (JWENT) as our Official Publication Partner and Sponsor.

JWENT is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high-quality original research and review articles in water and environmental nanotechnology. This collaboration provides ISET 2026 participants with an excellent opportunity to extend their conference contributions into full journal publications.

On 1 August 2026, Muhammad Ahnaf bin Azmi, a Masterโ€™s student at AMTEC, together with three undergraduate students from the Faculty of Chemical and Energy Engineering (FKT)โ€”Chiew Rou Yi, Aliyah Maisarah binti Rasyidy, and Lakshmi A/P Subramanianโ€”participated in the national-level โ€œEnergy Conservation & Emission Reductionโ€ competition held at Dalian University of Technology, China.

Representing AMTEC, Ahnaf as the group leader contributed to the teamโ€™s participation and success in the competition, which resulted in the team winning the Gold Award for their presentation entitled โ€œPyrolysis of Corn Stover Coupled with Fractional Condensation for Metallurgical Grade Biochar Production.โ€

Congratulations to Ahnaf and the entire team on this outstanding achievement! This success reflects their dedication, teamwork, and commitment to advancing sustainable energy and environmental technologies. Since its establishment in 2005, AMST has served as a platform for the dissemination of high-quality research in membrane science and technology. The journal publishes original research articles, reviews, and scholarly discussions covering both fundamental and applied aspects of membrane science. Beginning in 2026, AMST expands its scope to include complementary and integrated technologies such as adsorption, absorption, photocatalysis and coagulationโ€“flocculation, alongside advances in membrane materials, processes and applications.

AMST welcomes well-designed experimental studies, novel theoretical contributions and innovative applications that enhance system performance, reduce fouling, improve efficiency and support sustainable solutions.Scope areas include: Chemical Engineering; Chemistry (organic and inorganic); Advanced Materials; Composite Engineering; Environmental Engineering; Separation Technologies; Nanotechnology; Renewable Energy; and Resource Recovery from Waste Streams.
