UNU-IIGH, in collaboration with the Strategic Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Section of the Ministry Of Health, Malaysia (KEMENTERIAN KESIHATAN MALAYSIA), has launched Phase 1 of the Monitoring and Evaluation Workshop.
Over four days, the workshop focuses on strengthening key capacities in strategic planning, data use, and performance management to build stronger health systems.
The first day covered core monitoring and evaluation (M&E) concepts and approaches, such as realist impact evaluation and implementation research; the second day covered M&E tools, including theories of change and logic frameworks.
Throughout the week, the work will continue to focus on improving the use of evidence for decision-making and strengthening institutional capacity.
