Our mission is to establish a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendship. Founded in 1989 by Anthony K.

Shriver, Best Buddies is a vibrant international organization that has grown from one original chapter at Georgetown University to almost 1,900 chapters worldwide, positively impacting the lives of over 900,000 people with and without IDD. Best Buddies programs engage participants in each of the 50 United States, and in over 50 countries around the world. Best Buddies is the world's largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Here at Best Buddies Malaysia we believe strongly in inclusion and the gift of friendship to people with IDD and to educate the community about the importance of social acceptance, shaping the future in a positive way.

Bringing participants and peers together to slow down, connect, and create something with our own hands, one coaster at a time. What started as a simple craft became an opportunity to chat, laugh, share stories, and enjoy being together.
