Happy 69th Independence Day, Malaysia! 🇲🇾 | 31 August 2026

Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!

Sixty-nine years of standing tall as a free, sovereign nation and the best part is still the table we all share.

Living together with so many different cultures, languages and traditions for almost seven decades is definitely not an easy walk in the park. People argue, miscommunications happen and balancing every voice takes real work. Yet, despite every challenge, the harmony holds up. The food stays mixed and the holidays are shared.

Here is to keeping the peace, protecting the freedom and growing stronger together.

Selamat Hari Kebangsaan, rakyat Malaysia 🇲🇾❤️

Celebrating Maulidur Rasul | 25 August 2026 | 12 Rabiulawal 1448H

Maulidur Rasul refers to the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). It falls on 12 Rabiulawal, the third month in the Islamic calendar. Centuries ago, Muslim communities began setting aside this special day to remember the life, character and guidance of the Prophet. Today, Malaysia celebrates it as a national public holiday to reflect on his noble character and honor his lasting legacy.

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) taught: "The best among you are those who have the best manners and character." A simple smile, kind words and helping others are acts of worship.

Salam Maulidur Rasul.
