Andrew Tang Jia Hong, a student from the Faculty of Business (FOB), proudly brought home two gold medals while representing Melaka at the 6th Open MTF Taekwon-Do National Championship 2026 recently.

Andrew emerged champion in the Individual Patterns (19–40 Years Male 2nd Dan) and Individual Sparring (19+ Years Male 1st–6th Dan, 69.1–76.0kg) categories, demonstrating outstanding skill, discipline, and perseverance throughout the competition.

Organised by the Persatuan Taekwon-Do Negeri Selangor ITF-MTF, the championship gathered talented athletes from across Malaysia, including Perak, Johor, Putrajaya, Kedah, and Kelantan.

Heartiest congratulations to Andrew on this remarkable achievement and for making MMU proud on the national stage!

The Faculty of Business (FOB) was delighted to welcome back its alumna, Dr. Goh Hui Lee, for an Inspirational Sharing Session held on 5 May 2026 at the Melaka campus.

Dr. Goh shared her inspiring entrepreneurial journey of building multiple businesses from the ground up, highlighting the importance of resilience, strategic thinking, adaptability, and strong marketing skills in today’s competitive business environment.

Students actively engaged in discussions on branding, business development, and entrepreneurial challenges, gaining valuable real-world insights from a successful MMU alumna.

Facilitated by Mr Tai Hen Toong, Dr Yeow Jian Ai, and Mr Vincent Chan, the session successfully bridged academic learning with industry experience while inspiring students to explore diverse career pathways.

FOB extends its sincere appreciation to the Centre for Alumni & Career Connect for their support in making the session a success.

More than 100 diploma students from the Faculty of Business (FOB) recently participated in the webinar “From Zero to Online Hero: Building a Strong Business Online Presence” delivered by Mr. Hafizullah bin Munir, Director of SKCT Sdn. Bhd. and Industrial Advisor for the Diploma in Business Administration (DIBA) programme.

The session provided valuable industry insights on digital marketing, branding, e-commerce trends, and building a strong online business presence. Students also gained practical exposure to real-world business challenges and the importance of adaptability, practical skills, and continuous learning in today’s digital marketplace.

Kudos to the DIBA team for organising this meaningful industry engagement session in enhancing students’ digital business readiness!
