The Value-Based Healthcare (VBHC) Programme is designed in collaboration with University College London (UCL), to support this shift, equipping healthcare leaders with the knowledge, tools and strategic perspective needed to move from volume-driven care to value-driven outcomes.

Tailored for both clinical and non-clinical professionals, the programme focuses on strengthening leadership capabilities in areas such as strategic decision-making, stakeholder alignment and real-world implementation of VBHC principles.

We are pleased to share that Prof. Dr. Tan Ching Siang, Dean of the School of Pharmacy at KPJ Healthcare University, represented the university as a delegate at a distinguished conference held at Xiamen International Convention Centre.

The conference brought together key stakeholders from China and Malaysia’s medical and healthcare sectors, with a shared commitment to strengthening bilateral collaboration and advancing cross-border medical initiatives. It also focused on driving the integration and innovation of medical technologies, while establishing a high-level platform for dialogue between academia, healthcare institutions, industry and policymakers. In addition, the conference facilitated meaningful knowledge exchange, resource alignment and the exploration of strategic partnerships between both countries.
