Visit by Temasek Polytechnic to UTHM

On 9 July 2025, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) received a visit from Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore. The visit focused on exploring collaboration opportunities, including joint training programmes to support local talent development in the data centre sector. UTHM also shared its expertise in engineering, particularly in aerospace engineering. In addition, the university introduced several key centres such as UTHM BITARA (Advanced Centre for Continuing Education) and the Centre for Career Advancement and Alumni. The visit ended with a tour of UTHM’s drone lab. This engagement served as a platform to strengthen ties and encourage future cooperation between both institutions.

As part of the KOREATECH Exchange Student Program, our mobility students joined the Cultural Experience Trip to Jeonju — together with friends from Malaysia, Germany, Russia, China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Brazil, Italy, and Korea!

What a joyful journey it has been! ✨
13 amazing exchange students from Uzbekistan, Indonesia, India, and Pakistan joined hands with 7 UTHM students and 3 dedicated accompanying academic staff for a vibrant cultural experience right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. 🇲🇾💫

Together, we explored the city’s best:
📍 KLCC – Iconic views, city lights, and unforgettable selfies at the Twin Towers
📍 Pavilion Kuala Lumpur – A colorful mix of culture, shopping, and delicious delights
📍 Bukit Bintang – The lively soul of KL, full of energy, music, and laughter
📍 Batu Caves, Dataran Merdeka & Putrajaya – Where history, faith, and architecture come together beautifully

It wasn’t just about visiting places — it was about connecting hearts, sharing cultures, and creating lifelong memories. 🌍❤️

conducting research and exchanging knowledge at PSU (please find the attached announcement).

☑️We are offering 20 scholarships
☑️Scholarship value: 180,000 THB (lump sum, covering travel costs, accommodation, and allowance)
☑️Open to Ph.D. candidates who have passed their thesis proposal
☑️Conduct research at PSU for at least 6 months
☑️Publication in international journals required
