The Ambassador of Portugal to Namibia, HE Rui Carmo, along with the Heads of Mission of the EU Member States and of the EU Delegation in Namibia, paid a condolence visit to Hon. Utoni Nujoma, this afternoon, at the Official Residence of the Founding President and Father of the Namibian Nation, and signed the condolences book on behalf of the Portuguese Government and of the Portuguese People.

We share our deepest condolences to the family and Founding First Lady, and wish them strength during these difficult times.

Free face-to-face Portuguese language courses for children and young people: Registration until 28 February 2025

Applications are now open until 28 February 2025 for Portuguese language classes for children and youth at St Paul's College, in Windhoek.
Classes take place every Thursday from 13.30 to 15.30.
The levels covered are beginner (A1, A2) and intermediate (B1, B2).

Classes will start in February, are free of charge and enrolment is open until the end of February 2025.

Boa tarde! I Hope all of you are well. In behalf of the Instituto Camões and Embaixada de Portugal I would like to invite you for the visit of the "Prémio Camões 2021" winner Paulina Chiziane (Mozambican writer). The session it will be at Windhoek International School on Friday 30th (14:00). At 16:00 they are going to have a creative writing session (optional).

ℹ Com o objetivo de estimular o gosto e o prazer pela leitura, assim como o domínio da língua portuguesa, a CEPE África do Sul promove entre 𝗷𝘂𝗻𝗵𝗼 𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗯𝗿𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 o 𝗜 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮 entre as escolas da sua rede.
O concurso encontra-se organizado em dois escalões: 𝗘𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗕á𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗼 (𝟰º 𝗮𝗼 𝟳º 𝗮𝗻𝗼) e 𝟯º 𝗰𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗼 𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗻𝗱á𝗿𝗶𝗼 (𝟴º 𝗮𝗼 𝟭𝟮º 𝗮𝗻𝗼) e decorrerá em duas fases distintas, a fase de pré-seleção em espaço escolar e a fase final, que irá decorrer na festa de final de ano letivo - 𝗗𝗶𝗮 𝗘𝗣𝗘, onde os melhores leitores de cada escola e de cada nível, terão a oportunidade de revelar os seus dotes na leitura.
Fique atento! Serão atribuídos prémios aos três melhores leitores de cada nível de ensino da fase final.
