Dear Esteemed Members of the National Association of Ikwo Students, EBSU Chapter,

Warm greetings to you all.

As we prepare for our upcoming Students’ Program scheduled for the 29th of November 2025, it is important that we reflect on the significance of this gathering to our collective growth and academic journey. This year’s theme, “The Sociological Impact of Students’ Union and Campus Orientation,” speaks strongly to who we are and what we represent as young scholars and future leaders.

Students’ unions and campus orientation programs play a vital role in shaping responsible, confident, and socially aware students. They help us understand our rights, our responsibilities, and the environment we operate in. Beyond academics, they build leadership, unity, cooperation, and the spirit of community development.

This event will give us the opportunity to learn, share experiences, and gain deeper insight into how student organizations like NAIS can influence positive behavior, promote discipline, and strengthen civic values among our members.

We therefore encourage all Ikwo students to attend this great program at Manabliss Hotel by 7pm prompt. Your presence will not only enrich the conversations but also contribute to the growth of our association.

Let us come together, learn together, and build a stronger, more enlightened NAIS community.

Signed.
Hon.Justice Richard I. Igwe.
Committee chairman

This afternoon, High Chief Agala Innocent, CEO Great Agala Ventures, received the new leadership of National Association of Ikwo Students (NAIS), in his business office at Building Materials Market, Abakaliki, for familiarization.

The national president Comr. Umoke Chinonso Daniel and his recently inaugurated executive had thought of the needs to befriend the likes of Chief Agala who, himself, has tasted the tides of studentship and with fluids of comradeship, thus the familiarization visit today.

After highlighting the aims and objectives of his pristine regime, which is also designed towards revival of NAIS, Chief Agala had the conviction in his usual self, to not just assist but to also partner with the Association in its programs and activities whenever needs be.
However, he admonished the new leadership not to tour in the paths of old, rather to recreate the Unionism by being innovative, and to build the standard of which all students can be positively impacted. He advised them of inclusiveness and strictly not to toy with their primary purpose of being to the University.

The national president and indeed all his present excos at the time of visitation felt thankful for the warmth reception, and reaffirmed their total commitment for NAIS transformation; obviously noting that with Chief Agala's like, NAIS will have the better days upfront.

Congratulations to the newly inaugurated NAIS executive.

The Association of Chapter President, National Association of Ikwo Students - NAIS, lifts the ban on their acting national president.

Recall that the ACP on 02 March, 2025 passed a vote of no confidence on the acting national president, accusing him of sitting tight in contrary to the provided period for his appointment as a caretaker, and mismanagements and amongst others.

This lift from suspension was facilitated following the intervention of Ikwo Senior Comrade Forum -ISCF, and some other concerned students stakeholders. On, 09 March, 2025 particularly, ISCF had invited the entire leaderships of Ikwo students both past and present, and it's in this meeting that a consensus was reached for the Chapter presidents to pardon their erring acting President.

Meanwhile, the acting president admitted to have not followed the appropriate standard in discharging his duties, and pledged to sit up henceforth to see that the necessary things left under his care are put to rest within the shortest period of time.
