When you check your WAEC result, you may come across different messages that can be confusing.
Don't panic. Here's what some common result statuses generally mean π
π‘ 1. OUTSTANDING
Your result or part of it is still undergoing processing, verification, or another required check. It doesn't automatically mean your result has been cancelled. β
π 2. WITHHELD
Your result has been withheld pending further investigation or review. The final outcome depends on WAEC's decision after the process is completed. β οΈ
π΄ 3. HELD
This indicates that the result is being subjected to further review or verification. Wait for WAEC's final decision before drawing conclusions.
βͺ 4. RESULT NOT AVAILABLE / NOT FOUND
This can happen for different reasons, including incorrect examination details, a result that has not yet been uploaded or a temporary technical issue. Check your details carefully and seek clarification if the problem continues. π
π’ 5. INDEBTED
This may indicate an issue involving outstanding obligations connected to the school or examination administration. Candidates should contact their school for clarification. π«
β 6. CANCELLED
This means WAEC has cancelled the result following its review or investigation. A cancelled result is different from a result that is simply being withheld pending investigation. π«
