25/04/2026
I would like to share that our recent engagements on 23/04/2024 and 24/04/2025 have produced very positive outcomes. We successfully met with five out of the six distinguished individuals nominated as Patrons for the Alumni Association of the College of Nursing Sciences, Ado-Ekiti. The only exception was the Ajero of Ijero Kingdom, who was unavoidably absent due to travel.
Notably, our visit to Chief (Mrs.) Monisola Oloro coincided with her birthday, and she was delighted to receive us.
Encouragingly, all the nominees we met expressed genuine enthusiasm and a strong willingness to be part of this noble initiative. They acknowledged the role our alma mater has played in shaping who we are today and affirmed their readiness to give back meaningfully. Each of them also pledged support toward advancing the Association and helping it attain greater heights.
I would also like to specially appreciate Mr. Olowofila Joshua, the Patron Committee Chairman (NMCN Zonal Coordinator), along with every member of his team. Their dedication, persistence, and influence were instrumental in achieving this milestone.
Additionally, I want to extend my sincere thanks to the Vice President of the Alumni and Mr. Olagunju for their selflessness, efforts, and time toward this and other assignments—despite being on shift or just coming off night duty. I also appreciate Mrs. Adeusi Adeola and Ige Yetunde for accepting this impromptu assignment from the Alumni Association.
Finally, we thank Mr. Esan (Alumni President) for his involvement throughout the process.
Together, we remain stronger and more committed to our shared vision.
