A Moment of Joy, Memories, and New Beginnings at ASCETA!

On Thursday, 21st May 2026, about 100 graduates from different parts of Nigeria returned to Abia State College of Education Technical Arochukwu to collect their certificates, with graduating sets spanning from 1999 to 2025.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement, songs, gratitude, and heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, the Honourable FC Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Prof. Uche Eme Uche, and the Provost for making the long-awaited exercise a reality.

Many alumni also expressed admiration for the remarkable infrastructural transformation currently taking place within the institution.

A total of 681 certificates are ready for collection.
All concerned graduates are encouraged to visit the institution and collect theirs.

On Thursday, 21st May, 2026, about 100 graduates of the institution arrived from different parts of Nigeria to collect their certificates.

These former students graduated between 2003 and 2025, with a few dating back to 1999. They expressed great joy, singing and appreciating His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, the Honourable FC Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Prof. Uche Eme Uche, and the Provost, Prof. Idowu Eluwa for making the exercise a reality. They were equally impressed by the ongoing infrastructural transformation taking place in ASCETA.

A total of 681 certificates are ready for collection and all concerned are encouraged to come by the institution to collect.

ASCETA — ON THE PATH TO GLOBAL VISIBILITY

The Management of Abia State College of Education (Technical), Arochukwu, under the proactive leadership of Prof. Idowu O. Eluwa, has celebrated Mr. Chukwuemeka Goodluck Chinecherem of the Department of Business Education for emerging as the 2nd Overall Winner at the prestigious Aba Mega Food Fest 2026 organized by Rich Chefs Company among tertiary institutions in Abia State.

The talented student was presented to the Management by the Dean of Students’ Affairs for making ASCETA proud through his creativity, excellence, and innovative spirit.

In appreciation of this remarkable achievement and to encourage students towards excellence and healthy competition, the Management rewarded him with ₦50,000, while the Dean of Students’ Affairs further supported him with ₦20,000.

This achievement once again reflects ASCETA’s growing commitment to innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship, and practical education geared towards producing globally competitive students.

Indeed, ASCETA is steadily rising beyond boundaries.

The ASCETA Alumni Engagement and Certificate Collection Forum earlier scheduled for Thursday, 21st May, 2026 has been officially cancelled.

However, all concerned graduates are kindly informed that they are free to visit the institution from tomorrow or at any other convenient time to collect their certificates.

This means you do not need to wait for a special event before obtaining your certificate.

Your certificate is ready — come and collect it at your convenience.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work to strengthen our alumni community and build a greater ASCETA.
