The victorious Faculty of Science football team, led by the coach and team captain today presented the VC Tournament Cup to the Dean, Professor Wesley O. Okiei in the presence of other professors and faculty board members.

As a gesture of appreciation and in a bid to encourage future successes, the Dean made a personal donation of N100,000 as a reward to the team. He was supported by other persons, including Professor Mode (N20,000), another Professor, (N20,000) and several other cash gifts.

Congratulations to our Faculty Football Team on winning the VC Tournament Cup 2025. 🏆

The final score was Faculty of Science 1 - 0 Faculty of Management.

Special appreciation to the Dean, Prof. Wesley Okiei for his tremendous support through all the stages of the tournament. Our male and female basketball teams also had good outings as they both emerged as 1st runners up. We look forward to better outings next year and to the defence of our football trophy.
