🚨INEC Suspend Warri Ward Delineation🚨

INEC don suspend the fresh ward delineation work for Warri Federal Constituency after plenty wahala and protest from different ethnic groups.

The commission say dem don hand over the matter give the National Security Adviser (NSA) make dem handle am.

👉🏾 For now, Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) still dey go on, but na with the old wards and polling units.

This suspension come after Urhobo, Ijaw and Itsekiri communities waka protest for INEC headquarters Abuja, dey demand make Supreme Court 2022 judgment wey order fresh delineation dey obey.

Meanwhile, some stakeholders, especially Itsekiri leaders, don vex say the proposed new delineation map “bias and fraudulent,” accusing INEC of shifting boundaries and favouring some groups.
