Today, we join the global community in observing WORLD DRUG DAY 2026.

At Mater Christi Catholic College of Health Sciences and Technology, Igede-Ekiti, we reaffirm our commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles, informed choices, and a drug-free society.

This year's theme, “The evidence is clear: Invest in prevention,"reminds us that preventing drug abuse begins with education, awareness, strong values, and supportive communities. Every decision we make today shapes the future we build tomorrow.

Let us choose knowledge over ignorance, health over addiction, and hope over despair. Together, we can inspire positive change and empower young people to live purposeful, drug-free lives.

Say NO to drugs. Say YES to life.

It’s World Environment Day 🌍 and I need us to be real for a sec.
We’ve only got one Earth. No backup planet, no reset button, no “Earth B” waiting in the cloud.*
The trees we cut, the plastic we toss, the water we waste… Earth feels all of it.
So today’s the day we do better. Pick up one bottle. Plant one seed. Say no to one plastic bag. Small acts add up when we all do them.
This planet has housed us for 200,000 years. Least we can do is keep it clean for the next generation.
If you love sunsets, clean air, and beach days — this post is for you. Recycle, reuse, repost this. Let’s heal her together 🌱🤍
