YOUR DEGREE IS NOT YOUR ONLY ASSET.

You can graduate with a good CGPA and still struggle after school.

Why?

Because the university doesn't only test your academic ability.

The world outside the classroom will test your:

• Communication
• Problem-solving ability
• Financial intelligence
• Digital skills
• Network
• Confidence
• Leadership
• Ability to create value

Your certificate may help you get an opportunity.

But your competence will determine what you do with it.

So while you're chasing good grades, don't forget to build yourself.

Attend the class.
Read your books.
Learn a skill.
Meet people.
Build relationships.
Take internships seriously.
Start projects.
Make mistakes.
Try again.

Don't spend four or five years only preparing for exams.

Use your university years to prepare for life.

Not every Monday will feel exciting—but every Monday is another opportunity to move closer to your goals.

Dear Undergraduate,

A new week is here. Don't carry the disappointments of last week into this one.

Yes, there may be assignments, tests, project deadlines, financial pressure, and days when you feel like giving up.

But remember, every challenge is shaping you into the person you're becoming.

Show up for your lectures.
Study with intention.
Learn beyond the classroom.
Ask questions.
Build meaningful relationships.
Take care of your well-being.

Most importantly, don't lose sight of your purpose.

Your current reality is temporary, but the knowledge, character, and resilience you build today will remain with you long after graduation.

Go into this week with courage, hope, and the determination to become better than you were yesterday.

Wishing you a productive, impactful, and fulfilling week ahead.

You've got this.

"Going to the library as an undergraduate is a waste of time."

I know.

That sounds controversial.

But before you disagree, hear me out.

Throughout my four years in the university, I rarely studied in the library.

Not because I was lazy.

Not because I hated reading.

And certainly not because I didn't take my academics seriously.

I simply knew how I learned best.

My phone gave me access to textbooks, journals, research papers, and countless learning resources.

From the comfort of my hostel, I studied effectively and got the results I wanted.

While many of my friends spent hours in the library, I never felt pressured to do the same.

Because here's what I discovered:

The library doesn't make you a serious student.

Your habits do.

Your discipline does.

Your consistency does.

Too many undergraduates confuse activity with productivity.

Sitting in the library for six hours means nothing if you're distracted for five of them.

Likewise, studying in your room isn't laziness if you're genuinely focused and making progress.

The best study environment is the one that helps you learn effectively.

Some people thrive in the silence of the library.

Others concentrate better in their hostel.

Neither is superior.

What matters is the outcome.

So instead of copying what everyone else is doing, ask yourself:

Where do I learn best?

Find your rhythm.

Be intentional.

Stay consistent.

Because at the end of the semester, your CGPA won't show where you studied.

It will reflect how well you did.

Now I'm curious: Where do you study best—the library, your hostel, or somewhere else? Tell me why in the comments.

Can attraction become a distraction to purpose?

A student once asked me:

"Is it wrong to be attracted to someone?"

My answer was simple:

No, it isn't.

Attraction is human. It is natural to admire someone, enjoy their company, or feel drawn to them.

The real question is: What do you do with that attraction?

As undergraduates, you are in a season of growth, learning, and preparation. This is the time to build your future, develop your skills, strengthen your faith, and discover your purpose.

There is nothing wrong with liking someone.

The danger is when attraction becomes a distraction.

When your emotions begin to control your decisions, affect your academics, compromise your values, or shift your focus from your goals, then it has become a problem.

Attraction is normal.

Wisdom is knowing how to manage it.

Build meaningful friendships. Maintain healthy boundaries. Stay focused on your purpose.

Your future is too important to be sacrificed on the altar of uncontrolled emotions.

Have you ever had to choose between your feelings and your future?
