NUESA AKSU Chapter

Yesterday, the faculty of Engineering had their general faculty elections following successful campaigns by those vying for power.
In attendance were dignitaries from the Faculty
Engr. Doc. Dominic Ekpo
Doc. Ukommi Ukommi amongst other dignitaries present.

The office of the president was vyed for by
Comr. Godspower George
and
Comr. Harrison Ubong
While the office of the Vice President was contested by
Comr. Gold Chibuzor
And
Comr. Victoria Jeremiah.
After successful presentation of manifestos by the candidates of the Presidency, free and fair elections were held monitored by certified election observers of the faculty and the Institution's security team.
Ballots we're counted and winners emerged.

NUESA-AKSU 2021/2022 ELECTORAL GUIDELINES REGULATIONS

-Sales and return of Nomination Forms 12th August
-Screening of Aspirants and Publication of Candidates on Monday 15th August by 4PM
-Campaigns commences from 15th August to 16th August
-Presentation of Manifestos on 17th August
-Election holds on Wednesday 17th August by 11AM-2PM

Announcement and Publication of Election Results by the Electoral Chairman will hold at PAVILION 2 after elections.

Earlier today, the Department of Civil Engineering at the 300 Level Departmental Lecture Hall for the welcoming and orientation for the year one students.

Indeed, the Congress was graced by high personalities of the Department, Faculty too numerous to mention and the executives of the department and the students across all levels.
A lot were deliberated on and it ended peace and unity.
The Departmental President, Comr. Anietie Edet and his executives were present at the meeting.
Won't fail to appreciate the NUESA President - H.E Comr. Edidiong Ibia for coming in as our guest and also the CEO of the DREAM TEAM INITIATIVE - Comr. Ukoh Joseph Sunday and also the CEO, TEAM THE WILL - Comr. Esther Samuelz , thank you and God bless you, the future is bright✊
