Please be informed of the following regarding the Department of Tourism Studies:

* B.Sc. Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) is the approved programme for newly admitted students in line with the National Universities Commission (NUC) Core Curriculum and Minimum Academic Standards (CCMAS).
* B.Sc. Tourism Studies (TSM) remains only for continuing students who are already enrolled in the programme (including those continuing into the 2026_2 academic session).

⚠️ Kindly note: No new admissions are being offered into the B.Sc. Tourism Studies (TSM) programme. All new applicants and admissions will be processed under the B.Sc. Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) programme in compliance with NUC CCMAS guidelines.

Desk Officers are kindly requested to guide prospective applicants and students accordingly to avoid any confusion.

This is to inform all Entrepreneurship students of Wuse II Study Centre that the presentation and defence for the following courses: ENT210, ENT312, ENT709, ENT724, ENT412, and ENT830 have been scheduled as follows:

Date: Friday, 24th July, 2026

Venue: Wuse II Study Centre

Time: 9:00 AM Prompt

Note

This information is only applicable to students in the 2026_1 semester who were previously grouped for the above courses and have completed their reports awaiting presentation/defence.

Students who have not yet submitted their completed work are hereby requested to do so on or before Wednesday, 22nd July, 2026. They are also required to submit a soft copy of their work on or before Wednesday for onward transmission to the department.

ENT412 (Seminar) students are expected to submit their work on or before Thursday, 23rd July, 2026.

Each group leader for the grouped courses (ENT210, ENT312, ENT709, ENT724, etc.) is requested to urgently meet with the Centre management on or before Wednesday. Kindly ensure that all members of your group are informed.

It is no longer news that the 2026_2 Semester has officially commenced. We are pleased to bring you the latest updates. Kindly read through carefully and stay informed.

1. 2026_1 SEMESTER RESULTS

The 2026_1 Semester Results have been released. If you have not checked your result yet, kindly log in to your student portal and do so.

Note: The Support Portal, where you can view your CGPA, is currently unavailable. We hope the management restores the service as soon as possible.

2. 2026_2 ADMISSION

Admission for the 2026_2 Semester is currently ongoing.

If you registered *DES 303 last semester, you may still see the course as *"Pending"* on your student portal when paying your school fees.

*Please do NOT register the course again* if you know you successfully completed it.

Before concluding that you failed, check your *Elearn portal* for your assessment scores:

* Proposal – *20 marks*
* Logbook – *30 marks*
* Report – *50 marks*

*Total: 100 marks*

If your scores are available on the Elearn portal, it means your work has been assessed. Your final result will be uploaded to the *Support Portal* later.
