NBTE Grants Accreditation to 3 Programmes at Sahlan College of Health Sciences and Technology, Jos
The Management of Sahlan College of Health Sciences and Technology, Jos, Plateau State, is pleased to announce that the National Board forTechnical Education (NBTE) has granted Accreditation status to a total of three (3) academic programmes following the comprehensive accreditation exercise to admit students from 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the official report released by the NBTE, the programmes were assessed based on the Core Curriculum and Minimum Academic Standards (CCMAS), with emphasis on curriculum content, quality of academic staff, physical facilities, library resources, and employers’ rating.
The programmes granted accreditation are:
• ND-Community Health (2-Streams)
• ND- Medical Lab. Tech. (2 streams)
• ND-Medical Imaging (1 Stream)
This achievement affirms the College’s unwavering commitment to delivering quality education and reflects the dedication and professionalism of its academic and administrative staff in building a centre of excellence. With this development, all accredited programmes have secured recognition for a period of years to come.
As such, the college is inviting qualified candidates to apply for admission into the aforementioned programs now, as the forms are already on sale.
i- Any candidates with 5 Science subjects can apply as fresh student.
ii- Any candidate with a professional Diploma and want to acquire National Diploma (ND) can apply for 1 year D.E program (Abridgment).
iii- Any candidate with difficiency in the 5 Science Subjects can apply for 1-Year Remedial program, which leads the candidate to be absorbed in to the (ND) at the end of the 1-year program.
