NMA KADUNA VISITS MINISTER OF DEFENCE

A delegation of NMA Kaduna ably led by the Chairman, NMA Kaduna Dr. Hassan Bala Salihu paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Defence; Gen. Christopher G. Musa (Rtd) yesterday at the Ministry of Defence Headquarters, Abuja.

During the visit, the Chairman NMA Kaduna acknowledged the impactful contributions the minister is doing in resolving security concerns across the country and also specially thanked the minister for his humanitarian activities in the health sector of Kaduna State - particularly, the Minister's intervention in renovating the staff quarters, wards and donation of a Mikano Generator to General Hospital, Zangon Kataf.

The Minister appreciated the visit and opened the door for discussions on collaborations between NMA Kaduna and the ministry of defence on progressive health initiatives. He informed of the Ministry's plan to establish a Military College of Medicine to train doctors.

The Minister who is also a patron to NMA Kaduna promised to visit the ongoing secretariat building project of NMA Kaduna whenever he is in Kaduna.

The meeting ended with both parties issuing awards of honour and special recognitions to each other.

NMA KADUNA - DOCTOR ON Radio/TV PROGRAM

The WORLD HEARING DAY is celebrated on 3rd March every year.
It is often an opportunity to create awareness on hearing loss and need for ear care.

As part of our corporate social responsibilities, we owe our communities a duty to provide topical issues on health with the aim of championing the course of preventive medicine.

The NMA Kaduna Doctor on Radio/TV program makes a return on KSMC TV to have a discussion centered on the theme for this year's Word Hearing Day "FROM COMMUNITIES TO CLASSROOMS: Hearing Care for all children".

While you were having a swell weekend, the were busy paying their dues to the society with a free Medical Outreach at Karji community, Kaduna.

Over 300 People received free medical consultations, hepatitis tests, visual acuity test, blood pressure checks, BMI screening, drugs dispensing etc.

Aaron Adukwa Dauda(The Senator; as he's fondly called).......His keen interest in knowing every bit of details about the political terrain earned him the title. Man literally goes to the library; not to read books but newspapers. 😂 😂 😂

Arguably the meekest of all the Pacesetters.
You may take ages digging to find a fault in this gentleman and you'll end up having a futile mission.
Loved by all and hated by none. Aaron is simply the right man you'll wish to have around.

A husband and a father of one (No! He prefers to be called a 'One Star General).

Aaron confessed to have been stressed the most during Lab medicine postings but had a roller coaster ride while in Obstetrics and Gynecology. It goes without saying then that Aaron desires to specialize in O&G upon completion of medical school.

As part of activities queued up for the graduation of the Pacesetters, the class visited the famous Kaduna Capital School today to help enlighten the students on career and institution choices.

It was an awesome moment spent with the young champions. This was evident in their responses and the palpable excitement in the atmosphere.

That was ' way of paying her dues to the society.
