EXTENSION OF ADMISSION PERIOD FOR ND/HND PROGRAMMES

This is to inform the general public, particularly all prospective applicants of Dansharif College of Nursing Sciences, that the Management has approved a two (2) weeks extension of the ongoing admission exercise for ND/HND Nursing programmes.

The new closing date for the purchase of admission forms is now 6th November, 2025.

All interested and qualified candidates who are yet to purchase the application forms are hereby advised to take advantage of this extension to complete their registration within the stipulated period.

Admission Requirements:
Candidates must have a minimum of 150 as their JAMB score and possess five (5) credits in science subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.

PUBLIC NOTICE

NBTE ADDITIONAL APPROVAL FOR ND AND HND NURSING PROGRAMMES

The Management of Dansharif College of Nursing Sciences, Kano, is pleased to inform the general public that the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), via its letter dated 21st October, 2025, has granted additional approval for the commencement of the following programmes with effect from the 2025/2026 Academic Session:

Approved Programmes:

ND Nursing

HND Nursing

Following this development, the College Management has approved the extension of the sale of admission forms for the ND Nursing programme to all prospective candidates for an additional two (2) weeks, commencing from Thursday, 23rd October, 2025, to Thursday, 6th November, 2025.

Furthermore, all Registered Nurses (RN) and Registered Midwives (RM) who wish to apply for any of the following programmes are hereby advised to visit the College immediately to register and indicate their interest:

HND Nursing

HND Midwifery

HND Public Health Nursing

All concerned are hereby advised to take note and act accordingly.

We wish to inform the public that SHUAIBU ABDULKADIR who was recently involved in a tragic incident of murder is not a current student of DANSHARIF COLLEGE OF NURSING SCIENCES, KANO.
SHUAIBU ABDULKADIR was dismissed from the institution on 25th January, 2024 due to Examination malpractice.

We want to emphasize that this individual's action is not a representation of our students or the values we uphold. We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment for all our students.
