FULafia V-C appoints officers to key administrative positions
The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida, has approved the appointments of some senior academic and administrative officers to various positions in the University.
The appointees included Prof. Linda Kwon-Ndung who was appointed as the Deputy Provost, College of Postgraduate Studies, for a period of two years.
Others are Dr Labulo Ayomide Hassan, appointed as a Deputy Director, Directorate of Academic Planning (DAP), for one year; Dr Gimba Obadiah, Head, Curriculum Unit, Directorate of Academic Planning, for one year, Dr Oluwaseun Tosin Babatuyi, Deputy Director, Career Service, for one year and Dr Blossom Ottoh-Agede Shimayam, Deputy Director, Centre for Security Studies, for one year.
Also appointed are Dr Stephen Uvara, as the Director, Directorate of Employee Compensation Services (Pension and Health Insurance Scheme), for a period of two years, Dr Musa Agbawu Bashir, Director, Housing and Community Development Services, Prof. Surajudeen Adam, Director, Centre for Linguistic and Language Immersion, for two years, and Prof. Al-Bishak Mallam, Director, Institute of Ancient African Studies, for two years.
The appointments are expected to contribute to the effective administration and continued development of the University.
