The world does not need more accountants who cannot read a data dashboard. It does not need more entrepreneurs who treat technology as optional.

At NUTM, we built something different.

We are a STEMME institution — where Management and Entrepreneurship sit alongside Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics by design and not as add-ons.

That is why our new undergraduate programmes are not traditional business degrees:

B.Sc. Accounting
B.Sc. Business Administration
B.Sc. Entrepreneurship

Each one is built from the ground up inside a university where business thinking and technological fluency are taught as one and the same skill.

Our graduates will not adapt to the future; they will be the ones building it.

We recently hosted , COO of , for a deeply insightful session with our students.

She took us behind the scenes of real decisions, the kind founders face when the stakes are high, and the path forward is unclear. From regulatory pressure to market uncertainty, one thing stood out: leadership is often about making tough calls without perfect information.

Using Bamboo’s 2021 experience with the SEC as a case study, students were pushed to think like founders in moments where every option carries risk and no decision feels entirely right.

One idea stood above the rest: full clarity is not a prerequisite for action.
What matters is the ability to take the next right step with the information available.

She also reinforced the importance of relying on data, not emotion, when making critical decisions.

More importantly, the session left a lasting reminder that the trajectory of your career and life is shaped by the decisions you make before you feel ready.

In uncertain moments, the advantage belongs to those who can act, learn, and keep moving forward.

As we reflect on International Women’s Month, we look back on an inspiring event at NUTM centered on leadership, innovation, and transformation.

The event created an avenue for meaningful conversations on the role of women in shaping the future across industries.

Our guest speakers led engaging sessions where they shared real-world experiences and perspectives that underscored the importance of continuous development.

More than a celebration, it was a platform for bringing together individuals committed to driving impact and advancing women in business and technology.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of hosting , Co-Founder of AI CoLab Africa, at NUTM for a session on AI, Power, and the New Global Economy.

She challenged our MBA and MSc students to think beyond technology and consider how artificial intelligence is reshaping industries, leadership, and the global balance of power.

One statement from the conversation captured the moment perfectly:

“AI will not replace leaders, but leaders who understand AI will replace those who don’t.”

From sharing her personal journey of redefining her career path to encouraging students to intentionally shape their own futures, the session was a powerful reminder that the AI era is not just about tools; it is about who understands them well enough to lead.

At NUTM, we are committed to preparing the next generation of leaders to thrive in a world where technology and strategy are deeply intertwined.

NUTM is not designed to be a traditional university experience. It is an ecosystem built for ambitious young people who want to build real solutions, solve meaningful problems, and create lasting impact in Africa and beyond.

Our programmes are STEMME focused. This ensures that students do not simply graduate with a degree, but with the skills, exposure, and mindset required to lead in technology, business, and innovation.
